FAQs

Question: How long does it take to make a bespoke box?

Answer: It all depends on the design and it's complexity and also on the time of year. Typically a bespoke box takes around 6 - 8 weeks to complete. If you let me know the kind of thing you are looking for I can give you a guide on the timescale for completion. Boxes pre-ordered from the For Sale gallery can normally be completed considerably faster as they are made to set designs and sizes.

Question: How will my box be delivered?

Answer: Boxes are packaged in a separate box made from mdf which needs to be opened with a small screwdriver. They are sent via a courier and usually arrive within two days of despatch.

Question: How do I purchase one of your boxes?

Answer: If you are interested in a particular box, contact me with any questions you may have, when you are ready to make your purchase I will email an invoice to you for payment.

Question: How do you take payment for a box?

Answer: Payments are normally made via a direct bank transfer payment.

Question: What is the process for ordering a bespoke box?

Answer: The basic steps for creating a bespoke box are to decide on the design or style of the box, what timbers we are going to use to create it, how long it is likely to take to complete and the cost. Once this has all been agreed I will require a 25% deposit payment in order to secure diary space for making your box. The balance payment would then be payable once your box is completed, prior to delivery.

Question: What are the delivery costs?

Answer: UK mainland delivery costs are already included in prices shown on the Boxes for Sale page, please enquire for international delivery rates.
